Carr, Riggs, & Ingram
Panama City Beach, FL
Facility: Office
The CRI project consisted of a three-story, structural steel-framed office building, and was constructed by the professionals who are now ReliantSouth while part of Team GAC. The main roof construction is a 60 mil TPO membrane over tapered insulation on a metal deck. Feature roofs are of metal trusses with composite sheathing and concrete roof tiles or copper roof panels. Exterior cladding metal stud and sheathing assemblies with hard coat antiqued stucco veneer create a professional appearance. A cast-stone water table and ornamental railings complete the Mediterranean façade. Plush landscaping, water features, stone pavers, and covered pavilions invite visitors to linger outside before entering the building. Other unique features include included in the Dennis Chavez design were flaming urns atop the Porte Cochere and a sprawling monument sign with waterfalls. The building's interiors consist of Class “A” office space on the second floor to accommodate the offices of Carr, Riggs & Ingram Accounting Firm. Stone tile, Brazilian Cherry millwork, granite counters, and ornate light fixtures complete the exquisite finishes. Other tenants occupy portions of the first and third floors with the remaining space left unfinished for future tenants. The third floor has a unique open air terrace and tower lease space offering breath taking views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Highway 98 corridor. This project has become a signature addition to the Panama City Beach tourist corridor.
