In 1982, The Fresh Market founders decided to open a store that was different from the giant industrialized grocery stores of the time. They wanted to create an open-air market with old-world charm, stocked with fresh meats, seafood, fruits, and vegetables. They wanted the store to be “a fresh concept in grocery shopping.”  Bringing the European style market stateside was just the beginning. Step inside The Fresh Market and you’ll notice a rustic feel complimented by old-world charm, warm lighting and classical music that provide an inviting atmosphere. Based on the strength of several successfully completed projects at Pier Park North, Casto Development selected ReliantSouth to construct both the shell & tenant improvement of the 18,184 sf World Market.

ReliantSouth facilitated the construction of the the 8,160 sf Crossings at Inlet Beach Phase 2 retail building in Inlet Beach, FL.  The contemporary retail project houses three tenants: Tracery Interiors, Pros 4 Clothes Dry Cleaning & Destin Ice 30A Seafood Market.  The Crossings at Inlet Beach Phase 2 is located in the heart of the growing 30A corridor in South Walton County.

WaterColor Crossing Retail - Lot 3

Lantana Retail

ReliantSouth recently served as the Construction Manager for the 7,235 sf Lantana Street retail building located on Panama City Beach.  The project was facilitated for a repeat client which is a testimony to the ReliantSouth team's focus on client satisfaction.  The building houses two (2) separate tenant spaces, including Emerald Coast Olive Oil.

Callaway Retail

ReliantSouth was selected as the General Contractor for this 6,400 sf retail project located in Callaway, FL.  The project included demolition of existing building structures on the site, extensive sitework and construction of a new building which houses two (2) national retailers.  The ReliantSouth Team enjoyed working with this repeat client and looks forward to future opportunities.

Aspen Dental

ReliantSouth was selected to construct the shell of the new 3,750 sf Aspen Dental located on Panama City Beach, FL.  This facility is located on an outparcel of Pier Park® North, a 360,000 square foot shopping center located across from Pier Park® Lifestyle Center on US-98 east of the intersection of State Road 79. Pier Park North will include a variety of well-known national retailers.

Gulf Breeze Retail

ReliantSouth recently completed an extensive retail renovation project in Gulf Breeze, FL.  The scope consisted of significant modifications to the existing 6,000 sf building's structural shell and improvements for two (2) new tenant spaces.  

Plantation Commons

Destin, FL

The Plantation Commons Retail Development in Destin, FL was recently purchased by a Baltimore, Maryland real estate development and management firm over $13M.  After interviewing multiple construction firms and an extended due diligence phase, the team at ReliantSouth was awarded the project.  The project involved several national retailers including Tuesday Morning and others.
